Wait Until The Ninth

Sometimes, you need to wait until the ninth inning before you leave a ballgame.

Last night when we left dinner, I glanced at the TV and saw the Rays ahead, 7-0. I thought, "This thing is over."

Turns out, not so much.

Game six is Saturday and the Sox are playing Beckett. The Rays have their work cut out for them.

(And no, I do not see a political analogy here. John McCain is not like the Boston Red Sox.)
