Leaving On A Jet Plane

Well, first we're leaving on a turboprop, and then on a jet plane. As this post is published, The Wife and I should be on a plane to San Francisco and then on to Chicago to rent a car and drive north. We'll be in Wisconsin for a week to visit with our families. The Wife scared me into thinking it would be cold, but it turns out the weather is in the high 60's to low 70's, which seems just about perfect to me.

No tickets to the Packers-Cowboys game, alas. It was getting too darn expensive. That's OK. We'll be back in Wisconsin another time and we'll try to go to a game then. If there isn't rain that night, maybe on the 23rd, we'll go see the Brewers play at Miller Park; I haven't been there, either and the Brewers are exciting to watch this year. Whose bright idea was it to fire the manager with three weeks left in the season and while the team is in playoff contention? Makes no sense at all.

We'll have one computer with us so I'll be posting intermittently, but don't be surprised if volume is low here.
