I Once Claimed California Was Over-Regulated

It took me sixty seconds on the internet and $6.99 to become ordained as a minister and become empowered to officiate over and solemnize wedding ceremonies. I didn't even have to profess a religious creed. Truly, I live in a libertarian paradise.

Huh, you had to pay? I got ordained for free.

Glad you are joining our ranks, Reverend Transplanted Lawyer.

The ordination was free, because after all, we are all children of the same universe. It was technically the certificate that cost me the seven bucks, in case I need to prove the veracity of my claim to ordination to the County Clerk.

I'm toying with different titles to assume. "Rev. TL" is good, but so is "Minister TL" or "His Holiness the TL." Given that I'm an atheist, holiness is not really a factor in my life, so that would be a life free from holiness, phrased as "His A-holiness the TL."

I know, I went a long way for a shaggy dog on that one.
