Fantasy Football: The Dharma Division Rules

All NAPP Readers are invited to join the Dharma Division for fantasy football, at least until all available slots are closed.

Play two quarterbacks, five position players (at least one of whom must be a tight end or wide receiver), one kicker, and one defense per week.

Draft a twenty-player roster the Sunday before the season begins. After the initial draft, there will be only two add/drops, which will take place after week 8 is over. Trades will be permitted through week 12.

Points will be gained by scoring only. We don't care about completion percentage, interceptions, fumbles lost, or yardage. This is a different sort of challenge for those of you who play "regular" football in which those kinds of statistics matter. The winner will be the team that accumulates the most points by week 17. No stakes, just pride. Because isn't that what matters the most?

Eight slots remain. The draft will be August 31 at noon, Pacific time. If you cannot participate in the live draft, there is an autodraft function to help you out. Send me an email (address, as always, in the right-hand infobar) that includes your e-mail address and I'll get an invite with the password shot out to you. If you do not already have a Yahoo! account, you will need to make one to play.
