But Look At The Long Term Result

Georgia will never be a part of NATO at this rate. At this rate, Georgia will be a part of Russia.

And then what? Before the Conflict in the Caucasus started, Russia only had to secure Chechnya. But soon, Russia will have to deal with Chechen separatists, Georgian separatists, Ossetian separatists, Adzharski separatists, and Abkhani separatists. Plus Russia will have an unbuffered, direct land border with NATO member Turkey.

I'm beginning to wonder if Vlad the Great has thought this adventure through to its long term conclusion.
