But It's Not About The Money, Really

Claiming that they have only filed the lawsuit to redeem the good name of their predecessors, a self-proclaimed successor group to the Knights Templar has filed a lawsuit against the Roman Catholic Church and more specifically Pope Benedict XVI. They demand the replevin of more than $150,000,000 in assets they claim were illegally seized from their forefathers in the fourteenth century

The lawsuit was filed in Spain. So maybe the King of Spain sue for return of title to government lands seized by Franco, and compensation for his lost revenues over the past half century? Maybe the descendants of the Caliph of
Córdoba could do the same thing.

This is exactly why there are statutes of limitations.
