While I’ve little time to read or comment on the article in any depth, Stephen Presser of the Manhattan Institute offers a spirited defense of the much-maligned Clarence Thomas in the City Journal. Conservative, yes; always right, no – but one thing to admire is clear, uncompromising intellectual consistency, which is a trait that Professor Presser claims Justice Thomas has demonstrated in abundance during his sixteen years (!) on the High Court.
