Jerry Falwell has died and, like Andrew Sullivan, I can think of nothing particularly complimentary about the guy to say. Andrew Sullivan will pray for Falwell but that’s a fruitless exercise if you ask me.

The Wife thinks Alexander Hamilton was the best-looking of all the Founding Fathers. Dying young helps in that regard, I think, although he was quite the ladies' man, and being good-looking must have helped in that arena back in the 1780's as much as it does today.
