Romney on Gay Parenting

A lesbian woman confronted Mitt Romney on his disapproval of same-sex marriage. In response, Romney congratulated the woman on having created a family of her own, and said that the prospect of gay couples raising children together was “fine.” This has upset religious conservatives, even though it seems to me Romney did not say anything to contradict his position that there should not be same-sex marriages.
