Good Luck, Tony

Tony Blair resigned as the PM of England today. It's been a long time coming, so the Beeb is more interested in what the new PM, Gordon Brown, is going to do. But it's interesting to see that Blair has been named as a special envoy to work towards peace in the Middle East. I don't know if he's the ideal choice, but he's also far from the worst. And he deserves better than the British public have been giving him. He's done right by his country; the British economy has been strong enough that the Pound remains the strongest currency on the planet and more recently, he found a way to get Her Majesty's sailors back from the clutches of Iran without expanding the war. So, good show, Tony, and good luck. This American thinks you've done a right honorable job.
