How many times have you watched your team play, and the other guys have the ball, and your defender misses what seems to be an easy tackle, giving up way more yards, and often way more points, than you know perfectly well they should have? Because no one learns how to tackle anymore. Live tackling is almost gone from NFL practices. Defenders learn how to "just miss" in practice, while receivers learn how to "actually evade." And according to the linked article, it's only going to get worse. Seems like an opportunity here for some coach willing to take a chance or a team with the bankroll to hire a well-staffed practice squad as sparring partners.
