An interesting bit on a Democrat running for Senate in Oregon. His campaign T-shirts say “Hooked on Novick.” While his physical appearance is the most obvious thing about him, a forthright campaign platform is probably the most interesting thing. Oregon is just quirky enough a place that he might win by carrying the cities around I-5 and points west, conceding the more conservative, agrarian eastern two-thirds of the state to the incumbent Republican.
