When Leftists Turn Violent

When, when, WHEN will people remember that political disagreements in this country are worked out through the political process?

Apparently not any time soon in New Orleans.  After a big fancy-schmantzy fundraiser at a Brennan's Restaurant in the French Quarter (the birthplace of my very favorite dessert ever, Bananas Foster) Bobby Jindal's chief fundraiser (of the ripe old age of 25 years) and her boyfriend were followed and severely beaten by weirdo leftists styling themselves as "anarchists," so badly that the young woman's leg was broken.  It sure looks like this was politically-motivated.

This is not acceptable and should be condemned in unequivocal terms by residents of all points along the political spectrum. The First Amendment is there in large part to make sure that we Americans do not ever need to resort to political violence. If you think Bobby Jindal and the people who help him do the things he does are in the wrong, you are free to peacefully demonstrate and present your argument to that effect in the public forum, and gain as much audience as you can.

This is not controversial, it is not partisan, it is not subject to reasonable debate, it is not justifiable. It should also be news that there are still anarchist organizations around engaging in acts of political violence.
