"Your Honor, I couldn't have known that I was in a school zone. There was this large black truck, in the lane to my right, which blocked my view of the signposts. The 40 mile an hour sign was big and I saw that, so I was driving 40. Then, the truck blocked my view, so I didn't see the sign that said I was entering a school zone. It isn't fair to hold me responsible for driving too fast in a school zone when I couldn't see the signposts."
"Well, did you see the school?" Guilty as charged.
