Blue Sunglasses

My last pair of sunglasses were eaten by the X-ray machine at the security screen for the Superior Court in Stinking Bakersfield. So over the weekend, I got a pair of blue-lensed sunglasses.

I know the scuttlebutt and rumor is that blue-lensed sunglasses are not as effective as polarized or amber lenses. But I don't care. The blue lenses reduce my perception of all the haze that floats around the desert, and it makes the blue sky look bluer, the green of plants and grass look greener, and makes the yellow-brown desert look less harsh.
