A look inside Romney’s Michigan victory: He promised auto workers that their jobs would be coming back because as President, he’d spend twenty billion dollars for them and soften fuel-efficiency standards. My guess is that the auto workers in
Tennessee and
Alabama, where those jobs wound up going, will be told a different story by Romney when he campaigns there the week after next. As will environmental advocates in California, tax-relief proponents in Connecticut, and balanced budget hawks in Delaware.
