Especially if it involves US troops in Iraq or Afghanistan. Why? Well, 'Al Qaeda' terrorists don't exactly carry membership cards in their wallets, or have embroided 'Al Qaeda' logos on their turbans. If one wants to say that insurgents captured in Iraq belonged to 'Al Qaeda', I expect some form of supporting evidence. Without such evidence it is a stretch to claim that any islamo-fascist insurgent is a member of 'Al Qaeda'. Sure, he probably hates Americans. Sure, he probably lugs around an AK47 and perhaps even some bomb-making equipment. But does he really belong to 'Al Qaeda'? Did intelligence analysts intercept phone conversations between him and Bin Laden? Did CIA data center employees discover a fund transfer from KSM's offshore account? Show me the evidence! 'Al Qaeda' seems to have become a generic term for 'islamic terrorist'. So to wage a war on 'Al Qaeda' is akin to waging war on 'poverty' or 'hunger' or 'drugs'. It's not a military problem, it's a social problem and a law enforcement problem. And if it's a law enforcement problem, it's not a war.Friendly Technocrathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09519350934207538519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13589532.post-35099228701740831702009-12-02T16:32:52.753-08:002009-12-02T16:32:52.753-08:00...he (Clemons) deserves and will surely receive t......he (Clemons) deserves and will surely receive the harshest punishment that Washington State can mete out...

Don't worry he did.zzihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09933063994246150989noreply@blogger.com
