a rich interactive summary of pivotal plausible events such as a nuclear exchange between Pakistan and India (guess what, we lose) and an asteroid impact. The graphics are cool and the fusion power article is, if a little bit pessimistic, at least wide-eyed about the realities of this still-theoretical technology. And frankly, I think that human cloning will cause more emotional hand-wringing than any real change in the world.
