End Of The Competition

Tonight was the last round of the mock trial competition. If I were any prouder of the kids on the team I coached, I'd literally burst. They did great. I wish we'd have had more time to practice than we did; I'm quite confident that with more time, they'd have made it to the championship round again. Even as it was, they looked so much better, so much smarter, so much more confident tonight than they did when we started, it was like seeing a whole new set of teenagers.
