Theology Enters The Election

Now, apparently, it does matter which brand of religious nonsense a candidate subscribes to. Mike Huckabee can protest all he likes that he isn’t attacking Romney on issues of theology, but when he asks questions like this, that’s exactly what he’s doing. And yes, we’re electing a President and not a pastor. But if you’re going to offer your faith as a reason why people should vote for you, Governor, you open up the door to questions like these.

  3. late, but this is why I am getting away from Huckabee. He is too religious. What does that question have to do with the office of the President??

He is a fool for bringing it up.
