High On The List Of Things I'll Never Worry About

Our friends had a baby several months ago, and he’s growing up fast. I only had just heard through them, though, that there is apparently a raging controversy about circumcision and the surgery is becoming unfashionable. Back when I was born, it wasn’t much of a choice – parents had to go out of their way to not have their baby boys be circumcised, and as the linked article suggests, it still seems to be something that upper-class Americans do as a matter of course. Of the many decisions that The Wife and I will be making over our lifetimes, this will not be one of them, but I do think it’s interesting to note the dispute.
