Check this out. A friend said at lunch today, "You know, I can't wait for the bird flu to hit. You know, thin out the herd a bit." Then we talked about the effects felt by Western civilization as a result of the Black Plague and the Great Fire of 1666. And did you know that the most new cases of AIDS last year was in India? I would have thought Botswana, Zimbabwe, or South Africa -- but that may be new cases as a percentage of the total population.Happy Holiays, everybody!
